1. DAY London
After gathering in front of our school, we transfer to the airport with the vehicle waiting for us. We obtain our overseas departure tax stamp (payment can be made via internet banking), complete our check-in procedures, and hand over our luggage. Upon arrival in London, we meet the transfer vehicle waiting for us at the airport and proceed to our accommodation. After settling into the hotel and taking a short rest, we begin exploring the city we are in. For dinner, we go to Oxford Street. After enjoying a meal at a nice restaurant, we explore this area, which is Europe’s busiest shopping street. Then we spend free time at popular spots in the city such as Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Regent Street, feeling the energy of London. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel to rest.
2. DAY In the Footsteps of Royal Heritage and History
After breakfast, we attend the General English-Speaking training held between 09:00 and 12:30. We then begin exploring London’s royal heritage. Our first stop is Buckingham Palace. Here we have the opportunity to see the Queen’s residence and watch the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. We then take a walk through St. James’s Park, where we observe cute squirrels and ducks. Continuing our tour, we encounter landmarks of London such as the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament. We then walk along Whitehall Street, pass in front of the Prime Minister’s Residence (10 Downing Street), and see the Royal Horse Guards. Our pleasant walk ends at Trafalgar Square. For our final visit of the day, we go to the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral, and then head to dinner.
3. DAY Royal Gardens and Natural Wonders
After breakfast, we attend the General English-Speaking training held between 09:00 and 12:30. Following the training, our first stop is Hyde Park. Here we take a short walk and enjoy nature, then see Kensington Palace, where Queen Victoria was born and raised, and the Albert Memorial built in memory of her husband. Afterward, we explore the giant dinosaur skeletons and meteorites at the Natural History Museum, and then examine the art, design, and fashion collections at the Victoria & Albert Museum. For our lunch break, we head to Covent Garden, where we enjoy delicious food as well as street performances by entertainers. Later in the day, we visit the British Museum and see its rich collections ranging from Egyptian mummies to ancient Greek statues. At the end of the day, we return to our accommodation to rest.
4. DAY London Icons and Shopping
After breakfast, we attend the General English-Speaking training held between 09:00 and 12:30. We then begin our day by visiting the museum dedicated to the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. After that, we see the world-famous wax figures of celebrities at Madame Tussauds Museum, and then ride the London Eye to enjoy panoramic views of the city. The London Dungeon offers us an exciting experience where fear and history intertwine. Later, we discover London’s historical and modern sides together with a Thames River boat tour. We continue with free time at an outlet shopping center, and at the end of the day we take a pleasant walk along Portobello Road in Notting Hill, famous for its colorful streets. After dinner, we return to our hotel and stay overnight.
5. DAY Tower of London and Tower Bridge
After breakfast, we attend the General English-Speaking training held between 09:00 and 12:30. We then set off for the Tower of London, one of England’s most important historical structures. Here, we witness English history by following the traces of dramatic events, royal intrigues, and historical massacres that took place in the past. Afterwards, we go to Tower Bridge, one of London’s symbols, and take souvenir photos in front of this magnificent structure. Later in the day, we visit one of the city’s shopping centers and have the opportunity to shop. After free time to shop to our heart’s content and enjoy the city atmosphere, we return to our hotel in the evening to rest.
6. DAY Oxford
After breakfast, we attend the General English-Speaking training held between 09:00 and 12:30. We then travel by bus for about two hours to the famous university city of Oxford. Here we see the historic buildings of Oxford University, the city’s symbol Radcliffe Camera, and the enchanting Bodleian Library. Afterwards, we visit the campus and the Natural History Museum. Those who wish may spend time in natural areas where they can feel Oxford’s historic atmosphere or try local flavors at Covered Market. Continuing our tour, we visit Christ Church College, which has hosted the Harry Potter films, and at the end of the day we return to London after free time at Westgate Shopping Center. After dinner, we go to our hotel and rest.
7. DAY Cambridge
After breakfast at our accommodation, we travel by bus to Cambridge. Upon arrival in Cambridge, we begin our city tour by walking along King’s Parade, one of the city’s most famous streets. We then see Great St. Mary’s Church and St. John’s College, two of Cambridge’s most historic structures, from a panoramic viewpoint. We visit Market Square, the city’s famous open market, and have the opportunity to taste local delicacies. Afterwards, we take a pleasant guided tour of Cambridge University, one of the world’s best universities. We then witness the unique harmony of history and nature with the iconic punting tour on the River Cam. Our tour continues with visits to Trinity College and King’s College (paid), two of Cambridge’s most important colleges. At the end of the day, we enjoy dinner at a nice restaurant and return by bus to our accommodation, where we spend the night.
8. DAY Greenwich and the Final Day
Then we head to Greenwich for our last exploration in London. Here we visit the Royal Observatory, take souvenir photos on the famous Greenwich Meridian Line (Zero Degree Line), and enjoy London’s impressive view. Afterward, we see Cutty Sark, once known as the fastest sailing cargo ship in the world, and listen to its story from our guide. Following our tour, we return to the hotel, collect our luggage, and set off for the airport by bus. After passport and check-in procedures, we begin our return journey on our evening flight. Upon arrival, we collect our luggage and, with the transfer vehicle waiting for us, arrive in front of our school, ending our tour with unforgettable memories.
