General Information About Our Tour
Dear Guest;
First of all, thank you for choosing us. You can be sure that we will do our best to make your trip enjoyable. To make this beautiful trip even more enjoyable, we present some details for your information below.
Before Traveling
• Before leaving for abroad, please ensure that your passport has a sufficient validity period and does not contain any damages (tears, scratches, erasures, etc.). Unless stated otherwise, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. If you are traveling to a country that requires a visa for Turkish citizens, the relevant visa must be in the new passport.
• If you are participating in a visa-required tour, please check the visa regime of the country you will be traveling to. You can access the updated list of visas that Turkish citizens are subject to, categorized by passport types, at “http://www.mfa.gov.tr/turk-vatandaslarinin-tabi-oldugu-vize-uygulamalari.tr.mfa”.
• Remember that many countries require declaration of cash and jewelry exceeding a certain amount upon entry. This amount is generally 10,000 Euro and above.
• In your wallet and inside your passport, keep the contact information of two people who can be reached in case something happens to you.
• Make sure you have enough cash with you. If possible, also bring a credit card. In case your credit card is lost or stolen, note down the phone numbers of the banks you can contact separately.
• It would be beneficial to obtain travel insurance. If you do not have travel insurance, keep in mind that you may have to cover all the costs of health issues you might encounter abroad on your own. If you do not have travel insurance, you can call your sales consultant to purchase it immediately.
• Before leaving for abroad, take photos of the jewelry and valuables you are taking with you. If your jewelry or valuables are stolen, these photos can serve as evidence for compensation from insurance.
• If you need to take regular medication, do not forget to bring an adequate amount of medication with you. Be sure to check the expiration dates of the medications you bring.
• Do not bring food items when traveling to a foreign country. Remember that bringing animal products (meat, milk, cheese, etc.) is often prohibited in many countries.
• Pregnant guests who are between the beginning of the 28th week and the end of the 35th week can travel with a doctor’s report stating "there is no hindrance to travel by plane." Travel is not permitted for pregnant passengers after the 36th week, even with a doctor's report.
• You can quickly and easily buy your exit fee from banks at the airport or border crossings, using your credit card if you wish.
Upon Entering a Foreign Country
• You are required to carry your Travel Insurance with you during entry into the country and throughout the trip.
• For Turkish citizens, be aware that the visa obtained to enter a country does not guarantee you and your family members absolute entry into the mentioned country. This also applies to visa-free countries. In this context, be careful to answer the questions that may be directed to you by the security authorities upon entering the foreign country. Avoid unnecessary arguments with your interlocutors.
• During entry into a foreign country, please be aware that relevant authorities (border police, customs officials, etc.) may inspect your special belongings and luggage. If you are faced with such a request, keep your composure and act according to the directives of the local authorities.
• If you hold a Special (Green) Passport or a Service (Gray) Passport, even if the country you are traveling to grants exemption from visa requirements, be aware that entry officials may request additional information and documentation from you upon entry.
• Protect your passport. If you lose your passport, our Embassies and Consulates will issue you a temporary passport to facilitate your return to Turkey.
Notes from Us
• The standards of hotels and tourism in our country are advanced; the standards in the country you are going to may not be the same as ours and may even be lower.
• Unless otherwise stated, hotels are located away from the city center.
• Group breakfasts may be served in a different hall and may not be at the standard of a Turkish breakfast. Serving breakfast in a separate hall is not a discrimination; it is an international tourism practice frequently encountered in our country.
• Hotels do not allow food to be taken out of the breakfast hall.
• If there are extra tours in the tour you purchased, they may be canceled or rescheduled if sufficient participation is not provided, or if deemed inappropriate by local authorities, or if there are extraordinary situations such as flight delays or fairs in the city.
• We recommend obtaining your foreign currency from Turkey, as you may not be able to exchange Turkish Lira in the country you visit. If your journey is to Europe, we suggest bringing Euros, and for other countries, we recommend bringing US Dollars.
• Our tours are generally culture-travel-oriented, so our city tours may involve intense walking, so we advise you to come prepared and dress considering the weather conditions.
• Do not forget to bring your hat, sunglasses, raincoat, and umbrella.
• We recommend wearing clothing that ranges from light to heavy (you may sweat while walking and feel cold when you stop).
• Your shoes should be suitable for walking.
• We suggest that passengers with children take strollers with them, as children may get tired during the walk, and a stroller will make your travel easier.
• Having a small backpack will be beneficial for you. Keep your backpack on your chest rather than on your back to prevent theft or other mishaps.
• Do not neglect to take some simple precautions for your personal safety, such as not carrying large amounts of jewelry while traveling.
• Our tours may be combined with guests from other agencies. Each agency is responsible for its own guests.
• Panoramic city tours are organized for 2-3 hours to introduce the cities. Panoramic city tours do not include entrance fees to museums and archaeological sites but aim to provide general information about the city. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot in areas with closed roads or places where vehicle entry is not permitted, or they may be cancelled.
• Triple rooms are provided based on hotel availability. There is a supplementary bed application in triple rooms, and the 3rd bed is smaller than a standard bed.
• In reservations for 2 adults + 1 child, there may not be a separate bed for the child.
• Hotel check-in times are determined by international rules and are between 14:00 - 15:00, while check-out times are between 10:00 - 12:00. These times may vary during special periods.
• Some programs may be sold based on several alternative hotels. Programs with multiple hotel options may share the same guide and transfer vehicle.
• In situations where a child under 18 years old (not legally considered an adult) is not traveling with one or both of their parents, it is compulsory to carry the necessary consent forms during the journey.
• If your flight is delayed, the places to be visited may change, or the program may be entirely canceled, provided that the visited places remain the same. In this case, you can be assured that we will present you with the best alternatives.
• Meals and online check-in services may incur additional charges with some airlines.
• For those participating in tours with flights, the check-in and boarding procedures must be completed by the guests personally at the respective airline counters at the airports or online through the airline’s website before the flight. Online check-ins usually start 24 hours in advance. Some airports may not permit online check-in.
• Any last-minute delays and gate changes during flights are announced audibly at airports and displayed on information panels in the area. These details should be followed by you.
• Our agency is not responsible for guests who are not present at the designated airport at the specified times, who do not complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete their check-in and boarding procedures on time but do not board the plane.
• Any costs incurred for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination area for guests who miss their flight will be their responsibility.
• If your tour includes multiple countries and there are border checks in between, entry to the hotel may be delayed depending on the waiting times at the borders.
• Adhering to the movement times given by your guide/Tour Leader will help you see more places and enjoy a more pleasant trip.
• Your feedback after the tour is very valuable to us. Please remember to share your comments, suggestions, complaints, and thanks via email.
